Dockside Village of the 1000 Islands will be located in Morristown, New York alongside of its neighbor,
Dockside Resorts. Dockside Village will sit directly on the waterfront situated well within the protected
harbor, giving this location excellent protection from waves and weather. Located on the former site of
the Harbor Inn, this location is directly across from Brockville, Canada which generates a steady flow of
visitors. The public boat launch and village park are directly adjacent to this parcel. This location also
serves as a “port of entry” for entering the United States. Dockside Village of the 1000 Islands will be a
64,000 square foot LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) shopping and
hotel facility all contained in one building. In addition, the building will also carry several eating
establishments and a host of gift shops and services. Approximately 16,000 square feet of shopping
and restaurants will be located on the ground level, an additional 6,000 square feet of commercial
office space and/or retail space will be located on the second level and level 3 and 4 will be hotel rooms
and suites. The existing dockage will be expanded to accommodate approximately 30 boats for private
and public docking. Choice Hotels International, Inc. has authorized the franchise of an Ascend Hotel at
Dockside Village of the 1000 Islands. This Ascend branding, which is geared towards an upscale
vacation destination type resort, will consist of approximately 27 single rooms, 4 suites and a
conference center.
